DESCRIPTION
The Aquila is a cousin to the Sagitta but mostly black with a small amount of Red tint in the feathers. These were also founded by Henry Saglio and making them a great dual purpose breed. At 16 weeks the hens will weight around 5 to 5.5 lbs and the males will weigh around 5 lbs in 12 weeks. This is a tough breed that is a great addition to the farmer who is looking for a good layer and processing bird.
  • Excellent Layel, 250-280 eggs per year
  • Calm, Farm Friendly
  • Light Brown egg color
  • Egg size = L to XL
