Sagitta

DESCRIPTION
The Sagitta is a hardy heavy Dual Purpose breed. Founded by Henry Saglio this breed was to be used for both meat and egg production. At 16 weeks the hens will be around 5-5.5 lbs live weight and the males will be around 5 lbs in 12-13 weeks making the Cockerels perfect for the frying pan at an early age. This is a tough breed that is a great addition to the farmer who is looking for a good layer and processing bird.
